Brian, You agree with the interpretations of the words that you believe come from your God. No more or less. There is no more proof or meaning in that statement to me than if it had come from a Muslim, a Jew, a Hindu, a Unitarian, or a New Age'r. To me, the proof is in the pudding. How do your beliefs lead to think and to behave. Do they make you love all people and things? Do they make you more of an isolationist? Do they make you more charitable in your compassion, or does it turn you into something harder? Does your version of Christianity (and that is all it is) make you more like Mother Thearesa or does it make you more filled with righteous indignation? Where do your beliefs lead you?
