How do you save a list of stocks into a symbol file (sym) file...or how do you import a list of symbols (from say a text file or a excel file) into qcharts.

To save a file (with the beta versions) right click in the list then export->symbols.
To restore you right click then symbols->import symbols.

I don't like the assymetry of it, its rather confusing.

To import directly from a file all you need is one symbol per line- plain text. Make sure to call it a ".sym"
