Hi freddy! Welcome to the thread.
The "paint drying/grass growing" comment was referring to the quietness of the thread. ROTFLMAO!!! Not one of the most high tech terms that you will see on this thread. If you want to see a comparison, check back to the thread about a year ago, and see how many posts there were made on a daily basis. Compare that to this December, and you will see what he was talking about. I think briefly about WSP every day, have the map that I got last year at the PDAC posted above the 'puter. Hey...that should be coming up soon...is WSP/DSP going to be there this year? Anyone going?

Where's Walt hiding? Has he come back into town yet?

Looking forward to 2000,
Margie

Welcome back!

Both of those terms are used to describe processes that are thought to be progressing but which can not readily be observed by the naked eye. That's the point of all this discussion and analysis, namely to try to identify those more fortunately placed in the flow of information. Of course paint doesn't dry very quickly at this time of year in BC, and conversely in times of drought the grass hardly grows at all. As far as information is concerned most of our formerly well informed posters have been relatively quiet for some time.

Nice to hear from you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Regards

Freddy: As opposed to words like "fraud" and "scam" which were pretty prevalent last year, we're more likely to hear stuff like "Build your own damned airstrip". NWT is a pretty expensive place to do business. When you have to toss a million bucks in the general direction of 500 metis, you get the idea that cooperation is infinitely preferable to litigation. That having been said, WSP and Aber will either settle or get settled. There are not a lot of other big items on the table. For every million tons that is proven, there will be a couple of hundred guys chasing the next new thang. Short of a major player putting real money on the table... grass doesn't grow fast in the Tundra. Don't get me wrong. I have significant paper that says WSP will at least double next year without much downside risk. It's just not going to be as exciting as "the next new thang".
Enjoy,
L.
