<<Market Gems Calendar Updated>> There will be two calendars now for the month of December and January. One will be a regular calendar for all the 30 days, but the other will have be a scrolling List type of calendar so we can include any charts, analyst upgrades, important 'deals', and everything that just won't fit on the small space of the one square in the calendar. Each calendar has an icon to enable you to go from one to the other.

Januarys Earnings are still NOT ON the new calendar but I'll be starting to put some stock on tomorrow. Meanwhile, you still have some good plays for the end of December off the January calendar in its tranitional stage. The stocks will be linked to a very good intraday chart service but will occasionally have 4 or 5 and more customized charts a soon as the stocks come close to play. The new and improved "Earnings Calendar" will have all and more of what was included in the weekly newsletter and it will be updated more consistently.

This is still not the 'super' calendar. That one is being used by Harvard, Yale, USC and at least 5 dozen other universities and large cap companies/, it runs on perl scripts and it might still take a week or more so to be acquainted with that one.

So we are phasing out the red one (January's calendar. not the picks they are still excellent just the calendar format) and putting in the the double calendar (scrolling lists and whole months of plays and eventually just a one day calendar as well called "jump to today") all will have pop up windows so you won't get lost.

The final phase of the calendar will be when we are ready for our longer term 'Earnings Play" portfolio and when we'll be consistently watching the stocks for longer and longer periods of time. Everything should be in place by end January '2000.

You will easily access BOTH the calendars on the Newsletter menu of the Market Gems Home Page..
