For what it is worth, a Merrill Lynch broker told me that they were all notified on Thursday that Mercury Financial (a Merrill subsidiary and the largest management firm in the U.K.) has taken a large position in CTXS very recently. This is probably a big reason for the large spikes up the last couple of weeks. He said that this action speaks "very" well for the future of CTXS as Mercury's actions are very well followed. He also said that when Mercury discloses this position to the "street" in their quarterly report or next filing, a lot of people throughout Europe will be looking at CTXS.

Just a tidbit of information.

Yes it is an idea, thanks. I am going to be travelling and not sure of the accessibility that I will have so I wanted to write so calls to pay for the put premium. I expect some volatility in the next 6 weeks.
