"AA thread stock quotes ACTIVATE."

Good job, ALTERN8! It will be handy having the quotes there!

I have actually been over to the Yahoo AA thread a bit. A few of the posters have some good thoughts. There is one guy that is a little warped. He and I have had a few words. He reminds me of Archie Bunker. He actually said that the market has been good, but could be better with a Republican in the White House. Now, I am not a Clinton lover, nor a democrat. But how anyone could say the market has been okay, but could be better, is out in left field. We have had an incredible bull run. I don't care who gets the credit, Congress or the administration. I just think it has been awesome! After a few jabs at each other, the guy gave up.

I don't know what to think of AA right now. I saw it up over 4 pts. at one time on Friday. I couldn't believe it. It then settled down to what was still a good move for the day.

A friend of mine (AA engineer) moved out of AA stock to fixed income. He wants it in a safe haven for now. He is trying to time the market.

I still think it has a good chance to dip. It had the 3 pt. dip on Thursday, and I thought it was coming. Then I was surprised to see the rally on Friday.

My spouse continues to put in lots of hours with AA. Business is great!

Take care,
Ed

Hi ALTERN8- I just heard on CNBC that AA was the best performing DJIA stock in 1999! It handily beat Wal-Mart, Microsoft, and General Electric!

You've got to buy on any pullback, ALTERN8! I see a split coming in 2000. It split in 1995 (in the $80s) and in 1999 (in the 80s). Both splits came in February. I am guessing
we could see another announcement in early 2000. We are above $81 now!

I have decided to not trade this stock. It is a hold. I know a lot of people currently getting burned by selling early on this great bull run.

Let me know when you jump in!
