Vic-- NW said he had no plans except retirement for his CPQ holdings. He will taking an early one in a year + / -. If she_x is correct maybe that will help push it up a little toward that goal. Lord knows mine is much lower,, actually if it is lower than today at tax time next year it goes any way. That would still be hard pressed to off set gains in CYBR alone. Hell if they are waiting on 50 some may NEVER sell.... LOL!

victor,
You have an excellent memory. I plan to sell 1/3 of my shares at $50. At the same time I will evaluate what should be done with the other shares. I need to spread my investments / risk out more. My portfolio has waaay tooo much Compaq in it. Selling 1/3 would recover almost 2/3 of my investment before taxes.

I currently agree with $50 being a high resistance area. However, that could change with Compaq's fortunes. How many times have people planned to sell and changed their mind when the stock started performing well? One heck of a lot. Almost the whole thread changed their mind in January of this year.
