Lee,LOL, you sound like a wild and crazy trader! I'd recommend you turn down the volume, unplug from media for at least 36 hours, take a walk, read a novel from the eighteenth century or something, paint a room with oil based paints while listening to Prokofiev... do leave the window open a litte :)

I'm putting my money on volatility the week after Xmas.

lee kramer: we got Jerry- the-incomprehensible-to-understand-Favors back on CNBC yesterday saying that the Dow, having just hit a key number, is now in a new bull market.

Wow, I have some charts I loved to post to address that call, but I can't get homestead.com to upload them today...<ng>

Me thinks Favors will be falling out of favor soon...Maybe tomorrow I can get the charts to upload!

Regards,
LG

Lee, Ask Doc if he likes this one. Out of 10 Earnings Plays that reported Thursday night or Friday morning, 7 of them closed lower than they opened. Most of them opened Friday right near the high for the day, like ADBE, JBL, PRGS and TIBX. For a short term play it would have been good to short them at the open or at least sell them if you already owned them. We've discussed this phenomenon before, but are you playing this strategy, and if so, how is it doing?
