Let me tell you a little secret:

RE>>It is my opinion that God had to go out of His way to save me which makes me all the more grateful for His grace<<

That is the only way anyone gets saved. God actually "tricked" me into confessing He and the Word were true.

He put me in a tight spot where I could not continue to lie without hurting someone else.

They turned to me in utter desperation and asked "It is true isn't it Brian"

I had to reach out and admit "Yes, it is true!"

Then within my own thoughts I said "Shoot*... you got me" and I laughed inside.

Jesus actually "tricked me" I was doing quite nicely without him ( well that's what I told myself anyway )

The Lord was moving in on me for about a year ( that I noticed afterward ) before that night.

People who think they are saved because they " accepted" Him are trusting in a work of the flesh.
I was His before I ever admitted He was true and I was a lie.
I was HIS from the first moment I even thought about God even in unbelief. I was His before I was born. I was HIS before He created the World.

Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

I rejoice in so great a salvation that God would save me in spite of myself and Wrestle me to the Ground even as Jacob.

I thank God that I do not serve a God who would be so foolish as to respect my sinful "will" and leave me to perish in my sin!

He sought me - He bought me - with His redeeming Blood and Spirit!

RE>>died could have been able to hear me.<<

That can be the toughest thing I think. I was saved at the age of 26 so I have had opportunity to deal with people according to the Word and God's Principles Matthew 18 etc.

There were only 2 people in my life that I did not get to talk straight with before they died.

We need to trust that indeed it is forgiven in Christ and that they will give account for themselves before the throne for their own doings and not our offenses.

I know a fellow who says he like to keep short accounts with everyone because they could just up and die on you and leave you with that kind of guilt.

One of the worse is when someone kills themselves... I hate that.
Everyone is left to think about *IF* they could have done better or more etc. etc.

I take heart in this.. That Paul helped Kill Stephen well he was running the execution really and yet he could say this:

2 Cor7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
2 Receive us; we have wronged no man, we have corrupted no man, we have defrauded no man.

I honestly believe that a major part of our Salvation is to accept that Jesus Nailed the wicked man that we were to the cross with him and has indeed cast our sins into the sea of forgetfulness.

We are not the person who did those horrid things. That is not us. We are innocent of those crimes because Christ took that charge and guilt and the very deed itself with Him to the cross.

Psalms 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

They are GONE We must have enough faith to actually believe that.
