Thanks, Eric, for the clarification. So the demands placed by the client computer use the resources of the host. And I believe you mentioned that a limited number of clients are brought online each day in order not to overtax those resources with a sudden surge of demand.

The scans I formulate using the Worden library are absolutely elementary (am not knocking simplicity!). Also have never used anything else (not up to TradeStation's "Easy Language"). So perhaps ESP would be overkill for my skill (&$$)level. That said it does sound as if the alert or scan result themselves could be used on the client computer with charting program X just as well as charting program Y.

It certainly wasn't a good solution for me to cobble together eSig, TradeWind & TradeStation. That has been addressed & essentially I am trying to move up a level to RT scanning. Quite how this is to be done, I don't know :-)
