Vicki, various kinds of spreads are generally all I do, including leaps. However, these one week plays on OEX during expiration week was something that I was experimenting with for how to take advantage of: 1. the low front month prem 2. the volatility It was a high risk play and one would need to be both nimble and willing to lose their prem. I studied this very carefully all week while in the positions and saw how I could have lost money if I had played emotionally rather than based on the indexes support and resistance. jj
