You and the Bid mommy throwing in the towel? If you find that the daytrading is not your style,
then try to look at all the other forms of trading inclusive of the long term hold.
First and foremost one must understand themselves and their abilities to be successful.
Study study study!!! You make sure you and the dadette keep in touch.

Best Regards

Don't feel too bad Bid Peoples, I made a bucket of money in November, and poured it down a rather unlovely hole in the first week of December. I found out that I panicked in a loss position. Of course it cost me 10 or 12K to find it out, but everything I lost was money that was not capital, I had earned it the month before. I think for those of us who are new day traders, we need to trade at a slightly different rate than the big guys. Maybe we need a week traders thread, I find that I can't trade multiple trades in a day, if I have dealt with Greenslime 12 or 15 times in a week, that is all I can handle. and if I have made a profit, I have to walk away from the computer. Investing just so you don't have cash lying around not making any money, is a sure way to lose. I also need to set a limit, so if I have made 10 or 20% I get out, and when I am tired of trading I park the money and do something else. When I took my first really big loss, I parked the money for 10 days, and now that my head is clear I can go back to it. I also try not to ever lose my capital, and put part of my gains into "Safe" stocks until I am mostly trading on my gains. I have no margin, and trading is so risky, I cannot imagine risking my hard assets in order to daytrade.

Just some thoughts from someone who is newish to this kind of trading, although I studied daytrading for more than a year before I started, Hope it helps a little
Regards
Peter
