RE:""Dell of Round Rock, Texas, said it will be shipping systems with both processors, but it will ship very limited quantities on the 800 megahertz system"

Looks like I was right on the money with that one. Cry baby Mikey D. gets all 800 Floppermines...mind you, not 800 MHZ but all 800 of them that Intel can yield at this time!

re: "Looks like another Intel stealth launch for sure."

ONE MORE TIME: "JUST WHO THE HECK DOES inteL THINK...."

Also, I apologize for my misinformation (given sincerely) about GATEWAY Athlon introduction timing. Gateway is still loaded with rumors of such an impending series of ties to AMD. Who knows with the management shake ups there...only the shadow do.

Regards,

DARBES

ajb, re:<DELL: "depending on component availability"> yea, right, DELL, what "component" may that be?

Might it be the 800 MHz coppermine that will take 20-30 days to arrive?

Hey ajbreenr:

How much longer will Dell and GTW be duped by Intel hopes, I mean promises?
