During the first six months of 1999, we had a TATRADER Model portfolio..Each week for several weeks I gave a stock to buy...One was to buy 1000 shares for each security... Return for 1999 ends up being 169% for the portfolio... All of these stocks were posted on day of entry on prior posts... MCOM BUY price=10,000 TRID BUY price=8500 TIE BUY price=9500 TMAR BUY price=7250 AERL BUY price=12,500 VIAS BUY price=5000 PAGE BUY price=6000 VRTL BUY price=2000 Total Buy price=$57,750 Present prices MCOM=$80,500 TRID=$9810 TIE=$5120 TMAR=$6900 AERL=$43,180 VIAS=$5000 PAGE=$0.87(this was the supreme dog of 99) VRTL=$6.00 Total value of portfolio today=$156,510.87 Rate of Return for 99=169% I guess what this shows us is the importance of diversity... Without the big gun picks the performance of this portfolio would be pretty shabby..... Stock Pick of the week for Monday is SIII at 10.00 or less....
