The association will be great for SUN regardless of the name of GE's next CEO.

Walsh would be a great mentor. Do you know what he plans to do after his retirement?

Cheers,

Mephisto

Scotty is *not a 'loose cannon'. He's the guy charging the hill carrying the flag. Maybe that's a "loose cannon" to IBM shareholders way of thinking. I don't know. Is he a loose cannon as well for not being a Microsoft reseller? Is there some polite grey area in between that you'd be more comfortable with? Have you considered holding HWP instead?

Dear time4all: When I read your comment "loose cannon" it reminded me of something Abraham Lincoln said when jealous generals told him General Grant was a heavy drinker. Lincoln replied something such as, "What brand of alcohol does he drink, I would like to order a case of it for EACH OF MY GENERALS". haha. Course, being from the South, my history lessons were rather sketchy in that area. haha JDN
