The cautionary notes are probably for legal issues, so that they can avoid lawsuits. Take a look at an SEC filing for a semiconductor company, there are plenty of cautionary statements, in boom times and in bad times.

Are you serious or just don't understand what SEC filings are all about? These filings are the ultimate CYA documents. Success on WS is all about managing expectations. Mister Softee is the Grand Master. CSCO is a close runner-up. NN is still in kindergarten...
