Corvis' technology is the best kept secret in town. One can only assume that there is one of two reasons for this. One, they've really got something new.. or two, they used to think that they really had something new, but have found that other vendors' advancements already transcend what they once thought was new. This is not unlikely because many of the next steps moving forward are only natural outgrowths of extant technologies, leveraging off of increased clocking speeds, optical management and advancements in DWDM channel grids. If anyone can shed more light on the Corvis approach, it would be appreciated.
