That's not much of a prediction, Nostradamus, given that Intel already said they'll support DDR in the future.

Do you have a link? I must have missed it. I know Intel has made some conciliatory statements, e.g. "we'll provide what the market wants", but I wasn't aware of an explicit pledge to support DDR.

And now Tom is showing tests that make DDR look slightly faster than RDRAM. Surprise surprise.

Actually, it is a surprise. DDR is not only faster than Rambus, it slightly exceeds the performance of the 840 dual-Rambus system.

This is better than any theoretical ruminations; this is an existance proof. The cat is out of the bag.
