Tony thanks... so would you rather have an 820 with the 256 MB or the 840 with the 512MB and figuring you gonna go over
700 on the CPU? Only asking cause I'm getting ready to upgrade and I would like the most ideal configuration out there,
also willing to wait 1-2 months for it. Thanks for the help...


A good benchmark came through here this week, or on the Rambus thread, comparing PCs that have 820, 840, and BX chipsets. I didn't bookmark it, maybe someone else did. As I recall, the 840 is the definite winner. Of course, the PC with it is the most expensive. If your objective is "the most ideal configuration out there", and money is secondary, it's the 840. Others?
