OT: (Mr. Bear kinda) OT:
Why Mr. Bear...you say the sweetest things! Could there be a heart beneath that "grizzly" surface? What an exciting prospect! But I'm not sure what you mean by "my personal battle"? I have no battle with anyone - not even you...Pooh.
O.K. at first I was bear hunting and then I turned to bear watching (safer :-)) and now it is bear 101 - the study of your enigmatic personality.
You are indeed a most interesting bear and quite charming when you want to be... However, several birds have warned me that perhaps you are being sarcastic and setting a trap? Funny thing about computers - there aren't enough of ;-) these and :-) these and :0) these to know just what a person is REALLY saying.
Anyway - so you are interested in Platinum? Perhaps I have found our common ground? :-) I like Platinum too...and emeralds! ;-)

Now, to answer #4 as I wasn't ignoring it - just got sidetracked. Platinum was a gentlemen's magazine of the very early 80's. (This is why I thought that it would interest you.)
Supermodels of their day such as Christie Brinkley and Kim Alexis graced the covers. It was much like a "Playboy" in that it contained articles that were of interest to men and, of course, it featured beautiful women ( mostly blondes) - thus the name. You see, the publisher had a passion for blondes ( I believe he still does ;-) ). So perhaps I have actually found some common ground between you and "the monger"?
And speaking of Playboy... what did you think of the Jan. 2000 Peter Max cover? Being an artist I thought it pretty cool and quite eye catching. I really liked the article on the great entrepreneur Mr. Hefner and how he made a comeback into the public spotlight again. You see Mr. Bear - men don't always get "old" ( as if it is a bad thing ). They sometimes get better with age...as YOU will I imagine.
And what about that cute layout with mini me playing mini Heff? Most creative! Question. Does mini me short stocks??? The girls are curious - as they saw his photo from the A@P seminar. Is your photo there amongst the group as well? Only time will tell...;-)
