I heard Bob call George Bush an empty suit early in the show. Does anyone know if he ever explained why he feels George Bush is an empty suit? With systematic "empty suit" pieces coming out in the mainstream press, I wonder if Bob shared how he came to this position. When it comes to politics, I think he parrots the conventional wisdom instead of digging into issues himself.

Thank god we don't have finance reform. George W needs the millions to get his message out past the parrots. Does Bob seem annoyed that the fringe candidates are still on the stage?

Hi Karin, I'm replying to you on this thread to avoid getting on the wrong side of Justa.

Bob has spoken unfavorably, and/or made fun of, Bill, Hillary, and Al at great length on his program. The only Democrat he has spoken of positively that I know of is Bradley, although personally I can't see what he sees in him. Why do you like Bush, other than the fact that he is popular and is President Bush's son?

By the way, we have a delayed broadcast here today and I just heard Bob say that he is registered as an independent. He did not say that he is a member of the Independent Party. Is there even such a thing as the Independent Party? It would seem to be a contradiction in terms.

Karin, how do you know the old man was lonely? If the old boy could call and carry on a conversation he is just like any other person.

As for Bob on Bush(no pun intended) I figured I'd be voting for Bush but after listening to him a bit, I have some serious doubts. With that said, i totally agree with bob, so far the guy is coming off as empty.
