I would like you to know that I was spurred by our recent discussion into tracking down some of the actual research studies mentioned. Maybe other people are doing the same- so I am grateful to everyone who mentioned a study for making it that much easier for me to find them. And although I think some research is silly most of it isn't and most of it adds something to the body of knowledge- although not always what the researcher intended to add.
