Other Wireless Plays

I just read an article @ TheStreet.Com this morning...about Siliconix (SILI). They make power management chips, used in wireless devices.

They just announced a 3-1 stock split, which has caused a near-vertical upward spike in the stock price. Still, their P/E is only 26.60.

I'm going to do some research on this one this week.

Steve

*Robert, do you follow any other wireless companies or any companiy that is similar to VARL?*

Yes. ANEN, CNXT, MPDI, & RFMD. Also, CREE can be thrown into this group for about 1/3 of its coming products. This is my universe according to "unique" components and small module producers. Someone mentioned a company by the ticker of NOIZ, but I have not picked up coverage at this point due to a lack of some sort of competitive advantage.

:-)

I'm smiling because I know full well that I will get about 200 PMs asking for more info . . . I will just say this now . . . ANEN and CREE are most attractive at this point from a valuation perspective. Ignore group-think.

Please note that I have a limited amount of time, so if you do have questions, please keep them of the type you may ask at confession (wife, husband, church, court, etc. . . . ) or when you are interviewing . . . short and to the point. Oh, if the question is vague, or assumes I have a crystal ball, it will not get a reply.
