Other Wireless Plays I just read an article @ TheStreet.Com this morning...about Siliconix (SILI). They make power management chips, used in wireless devices. They just announced a 3-1 stock split, which has caused a near-vertical upward spike in the stock price. Still, their P/E is only 26.60. I'm going to do some research on this one this week. Steve

Robert, do you follow any other wireless companies or any companiy that is similar to VARL? Yes. ANEN, CNXT, MPDI, & RFMD. Also, CREE can be thrown into this group for about 1/3 of its coming products. This is my universe according to "unique" components and small module producers. Someone mentioned a company by the ticker of NOIZ, but I have not picked up coverage at this point due to a lack of some sort of competitive advantage. :-) I'm smiling because I know full well that I will get about 200 PMs asking for more info . . . I will just say this now . . . ANEN and CREE are most attractive at this point from a valuation perspective. Ignore group-think. Please note that I have a limited amount of time, so if you do have questions, please keep them of the type you may ask at confession (wife, husband, church, court, etc. . . . ) or when you are interviewing . . . short and to the point. Oh, if the question is vague, or assumes I have a crystal ball, it will not get a reply.
