Thank you for the B'day greeting, Christine. My plan for the day is to attend an early Mass - to say Thank You. The blessings have been outrageous and there's still a dream or two. Later; a bubbly brunch at the British Open Pub for the version of Eggs B' featuring fresh crabcake between the muffin and egg. Later, if it's not raining, or if it is, I may drive over and admire the three giant live oaks (w/moss) on the property where we're building the house. I may locate the appropriate strings and stakes and pretend to be enjoying the view from the front porch. Throughout the day I will be taking calls from my children who will be eager to tell me how fabulous I am and how much they love me. Other relatives of varied standing will also touch base as will acquaintances hoping to borrow money or get strokes the next time we play golf. Ms Mike and the girls - Bonnie and Maggie, will shower me with silly gifts and drag me down the beach a mile or two. At this time, I will call everyone I know on the cell phone so they can hear the crashing waves and know that I am walking on the beach and they are not. Dinner plans remain airborne. The one practical matter to be addressed is trading for a different forward on my fantasy basketball team, thanks to the guy I now have hurting his neck, or something. This must be done before noon, eastern or I'm ****ed - big time! Not easy maintaining a three digit standing in a "game" with a quarter of a million contestants. Webber for Garnett -- if you have a better idea PM me before 10, my time. Ach! Your question about Keane..... Words from reviews on the CD case include: "...voice from the earth that caresses the heavens," "brilliant," "Widely regarded as Ireland's finest traditional vocalist...." And, of course, you have my own high praise. Bet you can't hear "Emigrant Eyes" the first time (if you're paying attention) and maintain completely dry cheeks. I'll eat a bug if I'm wrong. I wouldn't even offer this bet to Mr Christine - would be like taking candy from a baby ..... Many other beautiful songs. My other most favorite is "Never be the Sun" which Keane dedicates to her son. In part -- You'll never be the sun Turning in the sky And you won't be the moon above us In the moonlit night And you won't be the stars in heaven Although they burn so bright But even on the deepest ocean You will be the light You won't find that love comes easy But that love is always right So even when the dark clouds gather You will be the light Wish I could send the music as well as the words. When Mr. C. gets up to speed on this he will sing it, in his wonderful voice, for you and for your daughter. I swear it. ZZZZZ time for the old birthday boy. Mike
