The DOJs case is not the main threat to MSFT. That will be settled by the time Windows2000 hits the streets (IMHO).

The problem for MSFT is the cases that will arise from the publish information involved in this case. Caldera's suit could do more damage. Bristol and other small companies will re-file. MSFT will spend the next 5 years fighting off these cases. More $$ for lawyers, more $$ for marketing (to spin stories), less $$ for R&D (well...) less $$ for stock options buy backs....
