Out of curiosity....

what WERE mr Clinton's "real accomplishments" before taking the national office of President? We know Juanita has a few opinions...

My point, I am not sure that "real accomplishment" is a requirement as some wanted a Washington outsider.

Mr. Bush Jr.. has not impressed me other than he is much more inclusive than past candidates from the GOP and will tell the Christian Right to go to H... I mean church. Probably positive enough. Fiscal conservative, doesn't kiss butt to the Christian Right, inclusive of minorities and a realist about many other things... Seems like a reasonable choice.

Richard, Did Bob say why he thought George W. Bush is an empty suit? I would really like to know how he comes to this conclusion. That's why I asked the question. It is not like he made this comment in passing. He spent a lot of time on this.

As far as presidential candidates go, I don't follow the races with very much interest until it gets close to voting time (primary or final). How the candidates respond to the current events during these time frames has more influence on my vote then cliches coming out of the media.

George W. seems like a good and decent man. We will know more when the primaries hid full stride.

BTW, I find his proposal of holding educators responsible for results by allowing funds to flow to the parents when the system fails is quite refreshing.
