Ed and all, Just buying and holding the 3 big Gorillas for eternity sure pays off. No Federal or State taxes to pay and you can always borrow against your stocks if you need money. (Inheritance tax is all you are stuck with, but I will let others worry about that). I feel that the position of the 3 big Gorillas (Intel, Microsoft and Cisco), in the internet revolution is extremely secure. To predict what your portfolio will be worth in five years, one need only multiply the current market value of Intel, Microsoft and Cisco by their performance of the last 5 years; that means a multiplication by 10, 13 and 26, respectively. Many of us will have to join the $Kilo**3 club!...humble carl
