I agree, the posts to the Redherring board are heavily on the positive (Corel)side. My main worry when I bought was not with the product but whether or not Dr C.could effectivly, manage and or keep his mouth shut. He is his own worst enemy. A true loose cannon. While we are on the boat theme, who would be Captain Bligh and who would be Spencer Christian? I find alot of this "negativism" is directed at
Dr C and not the company.
Peter

Let me add to the kudos for Corel. I use both Quattro Pro and Excel. Excel at the office unfortunately, company standard, and Quattro Pro at home. QP allows me to produce Excel files which I can Email back to the office or put on a floppy. Excel does not produce files readable by other spreadsheet programs. What arrogance. I love the connecting of cells in formulas that QP does. My home computing is Internet, SS and WP. I'm really looking forward to getting a Linux version of these programs and I can kiss Microsoft and Windows 95 away forever.
