I disagree that you should 'buy the rumour, sell the news'. If it gets approval, the stock will be all over the news and associated with VISX and 'potential' for helping people for many years. I think it will have an upside bias for the next 2 years minimum. Last summer my broker said the opening ask (assuming it would be approved) that afternoon was 34. Having said that, I do think there is a chance they won't get approval, and thus will buy out of the money puts for insurance (Jan. 10's if above 15 or Jan. 5's if it remains here). Only 16 more trading days and we will all know!! Steve D.
