Dell's tapping of IBM exec could mean news for STK
It's only speculation, but a Wall Street analyst thinks Dell Computer's hiring of an IBM executive might contribute to Dell buying Storage Technology Corp.

M. John Demirjian, an analyst with Bishop, Rosen & Co. in New York, wrote in a memorandum to clients this week that one of James Vanderslice's primary agendas at Dell might be to evaluate Dell's data storage strategy.
