I think you may have the idea on this one. I too, own this since the old cam net days (but don't have any family relation to you! :) ) It did change hands a few times and i think its business model has changed also. i don't think they are still involved with the long distance arena...but then again i have not payed much attention to their structure.
Don't hold your breath about getting listed on the nasdaq. They need to maintain minimum market cap requirements for a period of time before they can be eligible for re-listing. In either event, there are small cap funds that specialized in companies like this...so, some professional investors will be interested (just don't expect it to get added to Fidelity's Magellan any time soon...or at all for that matter)
As far as my position is concerned...this has been written off as worthless toxic waste a long time ago, so I am in no hurry to sell since this is found money.
TAME, from what i've read, seems to be a nice little product and if they can ride the e-commerce/Linux wave for a while, there is no real reason to be quick to sell right away.
