Hi Tony,

INTC seems to be moving up. Is there anything new in terms
of up-grade or news! I heard from CNBC that the whole sector was up-graded. I also read a internal reaport made by UBS
bank in Geneva, Switzeralnd that INTC will have one of their
best years in 2000 and the banks advised very storng buy
on INTC at current prices. They see the stockat 120 by MArch
or April.

Tony - Re: "This reminds of Sun and the Ultra SPARC III, which they've announced but, as you've pointed out, are way late in delivering. Sun has had a nice ride with the "network is the computer" and "we're the dot in .COM" advertising, in spite of not refreshing their UE mid and high end server lines with faster chips. To me, from now on, that means they are going to get hurt if they don't correct that situation soon. They're still at 450 MHz MAX! I think W2000 and all the other OSs that run on Intel chips, and the Intel chips, will do the hurting."

I posted recently that as of 2 weeks ago, SUN's UltraSparc III was still not completely functional - and it first taped out in March of this year - which ITSELF was over 12 months BEHIND schedule.

By the time SUN gets the UltraSparc III working, they will be SO FAR behind the performance curve that they will have TRIPLE their advertising budget to make up lost "perception".
