Hello again Valueman, Just want to say I have a great respect for your hometown hero Mr. Buffett, may not agree with all his investment moves but respect and agreement are two different things. As much as I respect "the man", I have even more respect for most of the people from the Midwest, greatest work ethic in the world. As for geographical humor, I am from the deep South and probably no section of our country as endured as much poked at fun as we, doesn't bother me, I can laugh at my egotistical self. Yes, you are right, I am into minerals but not laden with them, but if I were this little hummer Selenium would not weigh very much. You see it is what they call a trace Mineral as opposed to Major mineral but it packs a wallop. Do not know your age but there are very few families that are not touched by PROSTATE CANCER, I think it pays to take note of these little minerals. Like I have said before, if this little devil can be so effective, can you imagine what the other 68 or so that you are probably not getting in sufficient amounts might do. The nearest thing to a ANTI- CANCER pill known to man. Good luck. Voltaire SELENIUM INFORMATION SHEET A recent study performed by Dr. Larry Clark at the University of Arizona showed that the essential trace element selenium may reduce the incidence of, and mortality from, cancers in several sites in the body. In the Nutritional Prevention of Cancer Trial, Dr. Clark and colleagues found that the incidence of prostate cancer was decreased by 63% in a group of participants who took 200 micrograms of selenium each day as compared to a group of participants who did not take selenium. Decreased incidences of lung and colorectal cancers were also found in participants who took selenium.
