BP: You read it right. However, just the initial part may be very difficult. We have less than a handful of days before the start of the Santa Claus rally on December 27 and then we have the first few days in January. Quite often, that is an up period. However, the data I keep shows that the NYSE internals are very weak. So I am stuck with my expectation of a near-term decline on the NYSE. If we have a near term decline, than I will analyze my data and move to number 2. My time-frame for any position I take will be less than 4 weeks. Long-term prognostications are fun but that is about it. If mine comes to pass, I probably will not remember the note I posted. I will be too busy trying to make a buck on a day-to-day or week-to-week basis.
