Ike,

Real life in a real world is difficult for young men an women to understand. My son today for whom I have the greatest respect is working from 8 AM to 6 PM. This will another consecutive day that he has worked without a day off since Thanksgiving. Today is a short day for him. Week days are 8 AM to 10 PM.

He is 21 years of age. Has a BA in business. He graduated in three years due to summer attendance. He is a graduate gemologist. He started classes with the GIA last spring and graduated in September. He is managing my store in Erie. That store is up 41% year over year and I attibute that to his performance with the customers and the employees. Note this increase is same store sales.

I pay him $50K per year plus a Christmas bonus. This is sufficient income for him to rent an decent apartment, buy a new inexpensive car making payments and have some money to socialize so he may meet some women in a geographical area that is new to him. He understands the need to make a profit. He understand how to be customer oriented. He is a hardworking young man.

I will pay him more next year because he has increased profits. This still won't get him anywhere near close to building or buying a house on some fancy lake or some luxury car.

How does one explain this? Nick's abilities have put Bezos to shame in so many ways.

I am so disgusted I can't stand it.

Glenn
