I've mentioned Shahram on a couple of occasions in threads here at SI. He's an old friend who I've shared beers with, and was the other major proponent of Agouron back in the 1995 days at misc.invest.stocks. A great nose for money. Many of the picks in that list, however, are derived from daily contact with many of the names that are familiar to you from here at SI. Disclaimer..... I own OSIP, MLNM, and CVTX. I plan to buy back into VRTX sometime soon.

I've owned VLTS, fairly recently. Choosing not to now, but only because I haven't got enough $$ to cover everything that I'm interested in. GILD.... I commented, in the thread, a couple of months back. I've grown tired of watching them take toxic drugs forward beyond the point reasonable, so I'll go shopping elsewhere. However, still interested in PMPA and Tamiflu sales during years where the vaccine folks guess wrong. Owned them on and off about a bazillion times. Also owned Vestar which was the "Star" in NeXstar before they merged with Nexagen. I therefore know that end of the business fairly well too. Just seems that they have lost a bit of leverage.

Next breath..... in my previous post, I pointed to charts that have gone through the roof. Many of those companies were among those that, in my eyes, "lacked leverage".
