i wonder if some grade school kid will do a project on JB and ask his teacher, how come his company LOSES money ? is
that what business does ? i don't understand...my dad MAKES money in his business and we live in a SMALL house...

Gene,

Your point is well take. I do see a problem and that is the "need" to get big fast might be hogwash. Amazon was expected to be profitable by Q4 99 which is now. Instead, they chose the get big fast concept except it is not working. In the meantime, lots of cash is being flushed down the toilet but that has no affect on the income of Bezos. He should be held to a reasonable fudiciary duty. My opinion is this is no longer reasonable.

Glenn

eugene, i believe amzn cannot pull off the plan (and what is the plan anyhow?)

secondly, Mr B will be rich beyond imagination either way...
nothing to lose by having grandiose plans, eh ?

let's not underestimate the # of 'credit cards' amzn thinks it has access to. yes i bought from amzn once or twice but likely won't again...a)it was a novelty and b) its not necessary for me and c) i definitely won't be buying power tools from him !!!

i usually hire a lawyer to change my light bulb !!!
