Wait a minute, your son is 21 and is making $50,000 plus a bonus and this is awful!? And I am thinking the cost of living
isn't sky high there. I bet this puts him in the top 3% for his age, easy. I made $8,900 in 1984, after 8 years of college.
My act scores were in the top 1%.

The cost of living is not high here. In fact, it is low. I made $20K per year selling for Sears Roebuck in the mid 1970s. The only reason it was that amount was due to the fact I was paid comission selling and I was either lucky or good.

Let's look at Bezos in his mid 30s. He had made billions in a few years. He has not made a positive return on invested capital to date. What has he added to the world that deserves billions?
