i recall when my printer cables arrived along with the two canon multipasses three years ago. the vendor guy (i forget the company) had asked, "do you want fries with that?" (i.e, cables w/the printers) and i said, sure, good plan. when i unpacked them, there was no brand name on the plastic bag. the cardboard stapled to the top of the plastic bag had no company name or address, but it did say, "lifetime guarantee". i'm still smiling over that one. :) mark
