Have some extra food and water around. Extra booze should also be kept around solely for medicinal purposes.

One of my clients in the computer consulting business has about 300 consultants on staff. They were asked about 60 days ago to assist a large publicly traded utility on a Y2K project. They took a look at what was done to date and decided not to take the project. The company was too far behind schedule and it wasn't worth the liability to my client.
