Look at options Vol of Calls, too large a Vol. on a daily basis to ignore, something is up. Vol like this usually precedes buyouts or great news. Only time will tell. I cannot believe its related to Spectrum spin off.

takeover and how we play it!

lets say the deal is for 35 to 40 per share...i highly doubt patel would sell the BEST networking company on the open market for this low of a price
...

so here are my thoughts....35 to 40 will not include SPECTRUM....cs sells all of cs to marconi for 35 to 40 and spins off spectrum...this whole deal could be now worth $60 per share...putting a value of $20 per share for spectrum.

case 2:....marconi comes in and buys the whole ball and wax for 45 to 50 per share....
