Society paid for her- by taking up medical resources she took those resources away from someone else. So don't say she wasn't societies child- we all impinge on society in some way- unless we live on a desert island and draw no resources from the collective.

I have to wonder why you felt the need to use that particular case to try to illustrate your point. It is strange to me. I DID say that if you kept your kid locked up in your house so it never ventured out to interact then it WOULD belong to you- and not to society- but in this odd case it sounds like the medical machinery of society was involved- so that is not the case. What you take from you owe, and what you owe you are part of - and "belong" to, in my meaning of belong, which is not akin to ownership. Your argument is not a good one for me.

Her parents loved her and that says alot in todays society. There are children that don't know what that kind of love feels like. Tracy is truly blessed and lives with god now. Nothing I say with sooth your pain or sorrow but there are those that do care and suffer with the pains of the world.

That's terrible. Not only dead but so underdeveloped. Like not only 9 years of life but no real life. I feel so bad for her parents and you also. 9 years and 13 pounds, not only do I question God but the Idea of a Mother nature. So very very sorry.
