I have been in and out of AMD many times the past three years. (it always goes to 30, then stops) Anyway, this quarter I have never heard (radio) and scene (television) this much advertising from AMD. They are spending more on advertisements than they have in a long while. They must be having a tremendous quarterwith the Athlon...

Cirruslvr,

AMD had 13M revenue from chipsets in Q3 and 20M is expected for this Q. The other 60M is made up of embedded processors and maybe other stuff. This 60M is equal to Q3, Q2, and Q1's 60M. I don't know if everyone included this non-processor revenue in their CPG estimates.

Interesting. I haven't seen any body including this stuff in their CPG estimates. Thanks for the info.

I think Other is AMD's fabbing of Vantis products for whoever bought it. I have no idea if AMD is still doing so, so I have arbitrarily dismissed it because with it my estimate would be getting even further up there.

If I remember correctly, about 10M from the other - $18M was from Vantis fab services. I'm under the impression that Lattice is still using AMD fabs and the revenue from it may go up to 13M.

BTW Goutama - You're doing an awesome job with this Contest!

Thank you.

Regards,
Goutama
