Thank you for sharing this poignant tale with us, silversoldier a.k.a. SI Sy <gg>. I appreciate the message that you were trying to relay and personally am grateful to have someone with your wisdom on this board. As we've discussed here recently, many of us have yet to really experience a bear market first-hand, and your insight will be a boon to the thread. I hope that you will share more of your viewpoints with us if you'd be so inclined. My sympathies to you and those who knew Mrs. Trent who was clearly a woman of tremendous courage and spunk which I admire so.

There is currently a big push to capture the younger audience through the Go2Net/Hasbro deal and other gaming strategies (which is a great move, IMO - gotta love Russ even more!) and those in the 30-60 range continue to gravitate to and use the web in vast numbers already. So, I am curious as to what suggestions you might have for Go2Net with regard to desirable content for the senior (65+) population since stickiness - not only shorter term, but looking years into the future - is needed to keep the edge.

I look forward to your continued participation on this thread and thank you again for your insight.

:)

OT - Bears

Marcie Trent was well-known in Anchorage. Two people died in that shocking attack on the south side of McHugh Peak, and one escaped uninjured. Since then I've been more likely to pack my "influencer" when I'm out roaming the hills.
