Jim,

New ASUS motherboards with VIA chipsets...

X7V - Socket A, AGP 4x, 4 memory slots with PC133 SDRAM and DDR SDRAM support, audio, AMR

X7V-M - Socket A, AGP 4x, 4 memory slots with PC133 SDRAM and DDR SDRAM support, AMR, LAN

Original spec on VIA KX133 did not contain any DDR SDRAM support. Also, the Epox specs posted on JCs message board indicate that KX133 now supports 266MHz FSB. If true, it's going to be very interesting. It seems EPOX boards have already been released in Japan. IMHO, There is going to be an onslaught of Athlon mobos in Jan'00 :-)

Regards,
Goutama

So Ks are PC133 and Xs are DDR? Wonder what the volume availability on these puppies is. Anyone has any data?
