It would make sense that you would need to validate whatever change you made and also make sure you didn't break
something else. That would take weeks.


Testing to make sure you didn't break something else is called regression testing by some computer houses. What does Intel call it? Turns out regression testing (running all old, still supported software) takes more time than testing the latest and greatest software and applications.
