Hi Paul,

Thanks. I think my post may have been confusing - I was actually asking about Sales, not Marketing. Marketing is very important in the consumer and departmental markets and Intel has demonstrated it can compete quite well there.

The higher-end you are, and the further away you are from brandname consumer or departmental marketing, the more pressure is placed on Sales - i.e. Sales force in Enterprise segment. So, my question is about the Enterprise segment, where Intel Sales will square off with the AMD Super-Salester. I have never seen Intel successfully take on an Enterprise Sales battle before - this (ITanium) will be Intel's first entry into the Enterprise processor market. This is completely different than the consumer/ departmental segments.

So, for the Enterprise segment, when competing against a Super-Salester, I am now also interested in hearing and knowing about Intel's (Enterprise Processor?) Sales force - something I've never heard about before: i.e. who is the "VP of Sales" (or Sales Manager, or whatever Intel calls this position) on the hot seat for ITanium? This Super Sales Star (whomever he or she may be) will compete against the Super-Salester. Who is this Sales person? I hope they can walk on water.
