JDN, I do not see major liquidity drying until late next year early 2001. Mostly because of opening of the liquidity spigots in Japan. Not only they are going to pour money in the economy there to prevent a relapse, but the postal system is being liberalized, a huge source of liquidity. Eventually, I think that the increase in interest rates here combined with our own budget surpluses will cause our markets to go into a tail spin, but that scenario, IMHO will not be immediate, and a real bear should not be around for at least another 9 months if not longer. Of course, one famous crash watcher has just rung a third crash warning in as many months. (VBG).
