You are absolutely correct that Intel's previous misses have been nicely masked by executive promises. And fund managers all piling into the increasingly tiny group of "darling" status stocks has meant that they have continued to ascend, in spite of deteriorating fundamentals. Unfortunately this is a dangerous game of musical chairs, and I personally think we are getting close to the point in time where the PC-based chairs are all going to be yanked at the same time. Intel's valuation is downright silly, and sooner or later some kid is going to remark on the emperor's shivers. Can't wait, as it is long overdue.
