James, I like to believe that the world is not coming to an end in the year 2000. After all, the number 2000 is only a "human" number that is based upon the birth of Jesus Christ. The only real significance that can be attached to it is, as you indicated in your post, it's a "nice round number".

As far as Y2K goes, I don't anticipate too many problems from the computer aspect. What worries me is the HUMAN element and the illogical tendency to allow human emotion to interfere with making logical decisions.

I'll stop now. I'm starting to sound like Mr. Spock.
